Head coach Jamie Russell currently ranks fifth in wins (55) in school history. He is just 12 wins shy of second place. Hall of Fame coach John MacInnes ranks first with 555 wins.
This years squad has nine seniors, the most since the 1977-78 season when the team also had nine.
The Michigan Tech hockey program has experienced a revival under six-year head coach Jamie Russell. The team has made strides every year and the 2007-08 season was no exception.
The Huskies showed that they could compete with any one in the nation after posting a 4-4-0 record against top five teams.
