The Wisconsin women's hockey team enters its 10th season as a program with a .750 all-time winning percentage. In addition the Badgers have reached the national championship game in each of the past three seasons, taking home two championships in 2006 and 2007.
With strong ties to Wisconsin as a coach's son, player and assistant coach, Mark Johnson stepped into the role of head women's hockey coach beginning with the 2002-03 season.
