This is an on-going summer series on www.wcha.com that will feature and profile members of the 2002 WCHA All-Star Team. The profiles of the 23 all-stars, who come from all 10 conference-member teams, are appearing in alphabetical order throughout the coming weeks, leading up to the squad¹s mid-August (8-19) trip to Italy. You will also be able to follow the WCHA All-Stars in Italy at www.wcha.com.

The 2002 WCHA All-Star Team will be led by two of college hockey's premier head coaches, Minnesota's Don Lucia and North Dakota's Dean Blais. Together, they have guided their respective teams to seven of the last 10 WCHA championships and three of the last six NCAA Men's Frozen Four titles. Working with Lucia and Blais will be Denver assistant coach Steve Miller.

Italy 2002 will be the third international tour for a conference all-star team, following on the heels of highly successful trips to Switzerland in 1998 and Norway in 2000.
